Design in Wood is an International Exhibition of Fine Woodworking co-sponsored by the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association and the San Diego County Fair. The 30th Annual Exhibition will take place June 10, 2011 to July 4, 2011. Entries close on April 29, 2011.

Design in Wood is the largest juried woodworking exhibition of its type any where.

Who can enter? The Design in Wood Exhibition is open to all interested adult woodworkers. Wood projects must have been created by the artist whose name appears on the entry form. How many entries can I submit? A maximum of three entries, all classes combined, may be submitted per entrant. Works previously displayed in this Exhibition are not eligible.

Is there a Fee? The processing fee is $20.00 per wood project entered. Processing fees are non-refundable.

How do I enter? Registration is required. Late entries will not be accepted. No faxes For further details see the entry form. Mail in Entries: Mail in entry forms will be ready in January 2011. A completed entry form, photographs, and fees must be USPS postmarked on or before April 29, 2011. Down load an entry form from www.sdfwa.org/designinwood2011 or send a #10 self-addressed stamped envelope to Design in Wood, San Diego County Fair, PO Box 685, Solana Beach, CA 92075. Online Entry Registration: Online registration will start in mid-February 2011 and must be submitted at www.sdfair.com/entry/designinwood by 5:00pm Pacific Time on Friday, April 29, 2011. Digital photographs must accompany each entry along with fees. Online entries will receive an email confirmation.
