Coordinator, Design in Wood Exhibition
From the Coordinator
Time to start working on your entries for the 2018 Design In Wood show. The theme this year is “How Sweet It Is”.
Get ready for treats that will tempt all of your senses at the 2018 San Diego County Fair. Visitors will discover, with kid-in-a-candy-store wonder, just how sweet the San Diego County Fair truly is. It should make for some interesting theme entries!
Fair Planning Committee
We hold our fair planning meetings on the first Saturday of each month, January through May. Our monthly planning meetings are when we go over any changes from last year, schedule any work to be done for the coming year and plan our theme display. It takes a lot of volunteers from several different guilds to make this show happen every year so we could use your help. If you would like to be involved, please email me or just show up at a meeting.
Meetings start at 9:30am and will be held at Ed Gladney’s house – 10061 Riverhead Dr., San Diego 92129 (in the Rancho Penasquitos area).
